Ellie believes that curiosity, craftsmanship, and deep care are essential pillars in her arts practice. She has come to appreciate the importance of being in communication with one’s medium and materials in order to push the boundaries of what those materials can do. She believes art can be used to tell our stories and connect, or simply to bring us joy. Art is about finding new ways to share experiences with others, and to reflect upon our own experience.
